Promociones JuBa out of Reynosa,Tamp,Mx will have Dr. Wagner Jr vs Hijo del Santo on May 24. Also scheduled are Los Dinamitas
It has been a while since I had time to post. Quick thoughts about AAA, Rumor has it that RVD & Bobby Lashley will be coming in for TriplemaniAAA

TriplemaniAAA Rumors

Rumor has it that RVD & Bobby Lashley will be heading to Mexico City for the event. I guess Konnan is convinced that the average fan will know who they are. I mean at least Teddy Hart & Jack Evans can bump & go Extreme. But will the fans accept RVD & Lashely? If this rumor is true will son find out. Regarding to this matter...who reaslly is in charge of booking AAA. They are spending money on all these foreigners, why?

Random Rants

It has been a while since i had time to post some of my thoughts. Lets get started AAA has got a great angle going. Hell Brothers, is the NWO/DX of Mexico. Its drawing money$$$$$$. I don't know for sure whether or not Konnan is booking AAA or not. But this angle should hopefully play itself out in about a years time. The way I would play out the angle is keep the Hell Brothers tweeners (or as Zuniga like to call them "Universal") and then after a year of playing mind games with the people, have La Parka trust them, put them in some sort of stip match with somebody and then have them turn on him. Maybe have him lose his mask. Common since the death of Pena, everybody can see that he was the one that was protecting him, he is wrestling in the Semi-Main Events. The Roldans might no care about the battle for the naming rights & might end up having him drop the hood.

The other great angle they have going on is The battle for Baby Apache. This has been a very fun angle. I hope they have a good way to close this angle off. Maybe have the baby not be Billy Boys(or whatever Barrio Boy is involved), then they could have the real father be Oscar Sevilla (take him out of the Angel gimmick) and have him come back as the bad ass.

I rarely go into details about my knowledge & experience in this business, but let me say this everybody involved is working an angle. No matter how much of a friend that you think they are, if they have a chance to put themselves over, they will.

AAA survival or demise

Well it was announced that one of the major homports of AAA arena coliseo de monterrey had severed all ties with AAA. Arena Coliseo de Monterrey is actually owned by the City itself, it then assigns who will be in charge of it. In this situation Multimedios is in charge. Multimedios took over several years ago and dismissed Lila Cavazos from her position as wresting promoter. She was replaced by Lic Carlos Elizondo. Who was unable to maintain the fanbase of the Arena. A couple of years ago, Adolfo Tapia better known as La Parka (there is only one) was promoting shows on Fridays nights at the Domo Care at the Fairgrounds in Monterrey. Tono Pena came in and actually was able to convince the city that he could do a better job and took over the Domo. This only lasted a couple of shows. Pena then came to an agreement that he would take over Sunday slot at the Coliseo from Elizondo. Elizondo promoted only on Tuesdays, mostly with local talents. Sundays shows were primaryly run by AAA, I do not kow whether or not Pena was involved but it was mostly AAA. This would be part of the Northern Mexico sequence. Sunday in Monterrey, Monday in Nuevo Laredo, Tuesday in Reynosa. So know with Elizondo taking back Sunday nights, it bring about an interesting situation as what will happen with the northern circuit. The main AAA promoter in the Tamaulipas area Arturo Serna better known as The Panther (pictured on left), had established a workign agreement with CMLL several years ago. A couple of weeks ago he leasesd the Arena Coliseo de Reynosa, Tamaulipas and will be running CMLL talent on Sunday matinees. His AAA shows on Tuesdays at Arena JuBa have been mostly with Hator, Antifaz, Corazon de Barrio, Estrella Dorada and Pimpinela. He would maybe run with AAA main eventers once a month. Makes you think if Serna was aware of Tono Pena's condition and was covering all his basis.

Random Rants

Much has been said about work rate. A lot of smart fans dump on a lot of workers, they call them lazy, because they seem to take it easy in their match. Some example of individuals that have been labeled as lazy are Brazo de Plata, Los Hermanos Dinamitas, Pierroth, Rayo De Jalisco, just to name a few. I would actually call them smart. Smart because they give the people what they want, they are performers. They do what they do and they get over. Look at how over Brazo de Plata has always been since the inception of his "Super Porky" image. The Dinamitas are forever drawing heat as is Pierroth. That means that they are doing their job, as long as they do their job and the people either cheer for them or scream for somebody to kick their ass, they will be collecting a payday. In other words, chill with your criticism and enjoy the show.

Lic. Antonio Pena Hereida, passed away a couple of days ago. The official cause of death has been ruled a heart attack. I have been reading several news boards and sites, people are falling all over themselves to say how much of genius he was and how great he was. People seem to forget that Pena would try to get over by saying that he had created all these different characters. I would tend to agree that he might have come up with names and maybe even designed outfits, but to me the person in the role is the one who makes or breaks a character. Perfect example the case of La Parka the original made it a common household name by his work ethic and his antics. La ParkAAA, did the same thing he was placed in a situation where he could elevate his earning potential and he ran with it. Look as the case of Mascara Sagrada, the original was a decent workers, the second one was a bust but the third one made the character come alive. Well all in all my condolences to the family.
